A pre-concert talk entitled "Blowing the doors off the Italian Baroque" with Adrian Chandler (violin/director) will be held at 6:30. This will be free to all ticket holders.

This programme offers the grand tour of Italian music, traveling between Venice, Bologna and Rome. A combination of well know works such as the Albinoni double oboe concerto mixed in with lesser known works, some of which have never had modern performances. This promises a concert filled with excitement; a journey through the music of Italy.
