Beethoven: Sonata for violin and piano in C minor op30 no. 2
Rachel Podger (violin) and Kristian Bezuidenhout (fortepiano) are two of the top musicians in historically informed performance practice. Mozart's Sonata's are the very embodiment of the Classical Sonata form, while that of Beethoven has all the elegance of the form yet simultaneously pushes at the boundaries and increases the intensity.
