Take three hundred years of music from around the world, turn it upside down, infuse it with humour, energy, passion and pathos - and you have the recipe with which the Oxford Concert Party charms and delights its audiences wherever they go. Described as ““totally different, crazy and triumphant with a peculiar vitality” by BBC Radio, they create a rich, colourful and expressive sound and their vibrant virtuosity, and zany offbeat humour, makes for an unforgettable performance.

The Oxford Concert Party are a lively and highly entertaining group of six first-rate musicians with a unique repertoire which ranges from Vivaldi to Piazzolla, via Argentinian Tango, Jewish Klezmer, French café music, and music from Eastern Europe, Ireland and Scotland. Their main aim as performers is to connect with audiences, break down artificial performance barriers, and make sure that everyone has a good time!

The Oxford Concert Party has appeared twice on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ in the last two years:
"I heard you for the 1st time on Radio 3's In Tune and was blown away by your sublime playing and refreshing variety!... I've gotta say - you are inspiring and a breath of fresh air!”
