Community première of a short documentary film about Grandpont and the men from this area who fought in the First World War. The film features specially-commissioned music by a local composer, Bruno Guastalla (https://brunoguastalla.net/2015/12/12/mu...), and interviews with descendants of the 66 men, with local people who live in the houses which they once occupied, and with Oxford and military historians. These are intercut with footage of remembrance ceremonies and with images of documents from local and family archives. Free admission, suitable for all ages. Doors open at 6:00pm. Live music; 66 Men of Grandpont 1914-18 exhibition on display; refreshments and copies of the film available to buy. Film programme begins at 6:30pm.
