Everything you need to know about colour for painting.

For beginners and practising painters who want to know more about choosing and controlling a colour palette to enhance composition, create atmosphere or and as an an abstract aspect of your work. So many of my past students say they need clarity on basic colour theory. This three day course aims to provide this through a series of exercises and briefsand demos, to enable you to apply your learning. All materials will be provided. Book now as spaces are limited in my studio.

Sobell House Hospice are delighted to announce that submissions are open for My Lovely Postcards, our biennial art exhibition and auction in aid of Beth’s Bursary Fund. We’re asking artists from all over Oxfordshire and beyond to donate postcard sized pieces to our exhibition, this year hosted at the beautiful Cloisters Gallery in Oxford between 9th and 11th of November. We are a popular Youth Theatre in the heart of Witney, Oxfordshire and work with many young people from all walks of life from our local community. We are now looking for voluntary team leaders to work with groups of young people from the ages of rising 5yrs - 18yrs old. Ideally you will have an interest in the performance arts arena and/or working with young people. We will expect any applicants to either have DBS clearance and be registered with the DBS Update Service or be prepared to complete a DBS application and have a criminal record check undertaken by Abdabs.
