Gobo Theatre

About Gobo Theatre:
We are a not-for-profit organisation that run a youth theatre with 3 groups – Minis (5-8), Midis (9-13) & Maxis (14-21). We do a combination of acting, dance, singing & stagecraft (making props, costumes, set). The Minis group has drama every week and then alternates between working with voice and movement. In drama they mostly focus on confidence building, creativity honing and improving focus. We work towards a full-scale production, where the Minis play a small role in order to build their stage confidence.

West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton is excited to confirm three proposed exhibitions to run over the next few months; the first of those is the 'Texture' Exhibition, scheduled to run from 23 March through to 20 April. We are looking for exhibits that focus on textural qualities, whether that be textiles, mosaics, collage, thickly applied impasto paint techniques, ceramics, wood turning, or sculpture using papier-mache, to name but a few.

Blue Sky Book Clubs is a club for students in local primary schools with stories at its heart. Each term, a group of 10 students is selected to become a member of the Blue Sky Book Club. The Club Leader arrives with 12 suggestions for books, from which the students collaboratively choose two to focus on for the following six sessions. These books are then ordered through The Story Museum to be gifted to the students, one per student.
