This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated person to join the museum team at the beautiful Grade II* Victorian Oxford Town Hall. The Museum of Oxford is the only museum to tell the story of the city of Oxford and its people.

Following a major refurbishment in 2021, the museum is fully accessible, has three times the number of objects on display, features the voices of local people telling their own stories, and includes a brand new welcome and retail area and two new learning and engagement spaces.

Are you the type of person who likes talking to people, actively selling, answering detailed enquiries and delivering the highest standard of customer service?

We are looking for someone with a passion for retail who has proven sales, retail operation and administration skills. You will be adaptable and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a small team.
