As Deputy Front of House Manager, you will support the Front of House Manager with a range of operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the venue.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Front of House Manager to manage the team of front of house volunteers and staff
Bar operations, including ordering stock, stock take, stock rotation and reporting
Providing support to the Gallery Manager for the installation and take-down of exhibitions
Opening and staffing the North Wall’s reception during normal opening hours
Acting as Duty Manager for evening and weekend events
You will need the ability to lead and manage situations involving many different people and work well as part of a team, as well as the ability to use your initiative to work autonomously, as necessary.

You will also need experience of working in a busy public-facing role, as well as administrative and cash handling experience.
