Public Art opportunity for wall based art features and artistic noticeboards

We are seeking experienced public art practitioners to explore ideas and propose designs for artistic/decorative signage features and noticeboards for our three new community centres in Great Western Park (GWP), Didcot.

We will consider all methods and materials proposed by artists such as metal, wood, recycled materials, mosaic or applied directly onto the wall (such as painted or carved).

We appreciate that we are asking for numerous artworks in four locations (potentially seven distinctive features), we therefore welcome applications from artists who will propose to be a lead artist and or a collection of artists to propose to work on the following

Lot One – Northern Neighbourhood Centre – decorative wall feature incorporating the centre name measuring 3m x 3m

Lot Two - District Community Centre – a decorative wall feature incorporating the centre name, measuring approximately 4m x 5m or wrapping around wall

Lot Three - the Southern Community Centre – a decorative wall feature incorporating the centre name measuring 4m x 3 m

Lot Four - Four artistically striking bespoke noticeboards - (two freestanding and two wall mounted - to be A0 size, front opening robust, durable and practical for centre staff to use).

Lot Five – combination of the above

A. Bidder/ Company information

B. Confirmation you comply with the eligibility criteria;

C. Answer the questions relating to your previous work, approach to carbon reduction in your work and your approach to community engagement

and

D. Provide a financial proposal/ estimated breakdown of costs itemising such as artists fees for research and design, indicative making/ fabricating costs, estimated delivery and installation costs and cost of community engagement. All Quotation costs must be excluding VAT.
