CODE, inspired by true stories of county lines and knife crime, blends the power and grace of parkour and trials bike stunts with the drama of storytelling, physical theatre, and rap music. It’s a unique opportunity to unleash your creativity, learn incredible skills, extend your physical limits and set out on an amazing journey.
Learn parkour skills with experienced athletes - fundamental moves, techniques and principles. Explore the themes in the show, with physical theatre to develop storytelling and bring scenes to life. Combine your new knowledge working with the professional company on stunning scenes for the final performance. Showcase your skills alongside the seasoned performers leaving your audience in awe.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move around in.
All sessions are supervised throughout by trained and qualified staff.
WORKSHOP / 15th Aug – 12pm-6pm / 16-17th Aug – 10am-4pm at Barton Neighbourhood Centre, Underhill Circus, Headington, Oxford OX3 9LS.
REHEARSAL/ 18th August 2pm-6pm at Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3AS
PERFORMANCE DAYS / 19th August 10am-4pm at Broad Street, Oxford 20th August 12pm-6pm at Barton Neighbourhood Centre. (2 shows per day).
