Front of house and events manager
You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Trust's front of house activities and implementation of new ideas and management of new events to grow audiences and revenue.
The Corn Exchange front of house is more than a box office, offering the first place of contact and information for visitors and comprising of an open plan cafe and bar. Therefor this role will have oversight and responsibility in all key areas and will manage and support staff in the successful delivery of live performances and films, box office, functions, our kitchen, cafe and bar, hospitality and hire events, agency services and other activity inquiries from our visitors.
This post is primarily responsible for generating and increasing revenue from all front of house areas of the Corn Exchange, management of events and trading activity, growing footfall, delivering the highest level of customer service and supporting fundraising activities.
Whilst experience of a management role in a theatre, arts centre or hospitality venue is welcome, above all you will be someone who is enthusiastic about the arts and entertainment with experience to man. age a busy department, implement new plans and ideas to lead a team.
