We are recruiting an EYFS Coordinator with the passion, drive and pedagogical knowledge to develop a flourishing and impactful EYFS stream of work. This is a new post that builds on the work seeded by the Learning & Participation Team. Alongside developing a programme of the highest quality for our paying public visitors to our early years galley (Small Worlds), the EYFS Coordinator will also be instrumental in helping ensure that the voices of new and excluded groups and participants are heard and help shape new project both in the Museum and out in the community.

Successful applicants will need previous experience of working in the context of cultural and/or community engagement and building successful community partnerships, as well as a thorough understanding of the role of stories in developing language, social skills and an understanding of the world in early years children.

Salary: £22,100 - £25,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Part time 0.6 full time equivalent, permanent contract
Hours: 22.5 hours. Weekend and evening work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.
