Participation Coordinator

We are recruiting a new Participation Coordinator to develop and strengthen our community projects and partnerships. Working closely with both the Learning & Participation team and the Creative Programme and Events team, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in helping ensure that the voices of new and excluded groups and participants inform all aspects of the museum’s operations and programming.

You will need experience of working in the context of cultural and/or community engagement and will have a keen appetite for building new community partnerships and developing existing relationships with diverse groups to ensure that the Museum’s work has the greatest positive impact on groups who might otherwise experience barriers to accessing The Story Museum.

Salary: £22,100 - £25,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Part time 0.6 full time equivalent, permanent contract
Hours: 22.5 hours. Weekend and evening work may be required, for which time off in lieu will be given.
