Oxford Lieder is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager in a brand-new role crucial to growing audiences for classical song, an exciting musical form taking in everything from 17th-century lute songs, to the Romantic song cycles of Schubert and Schumann, to the most exciting music by contemporary composers.
Oxford Lieder is one of the world’s leading organisations dedicated to this music, hosting the UK’s biggest Festival of Song and dozens of other concerts in beautiful venues in Oxford, as well as streaming live across the world.
The Marketing & Communications Manager’s role is to grow local and international audiences for Oxford Lieder, through both online and in-person activities. They will oversee all aspects of the development and delivery of Oxford Lieder’s marketing, digital and branding strategies.
Working closely with the Director of Administration and Artistic Director, the Marketing & Communications Manager will play a vital role within a small, hard-working, committed and friendly team. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional or a junior arts marketer looking to take a step up into a more strategic role.
Salary: £30k to £32k
Hours: Full-time (0.8 FTE will also be considered)
Location: Combination of Oxford and remote working
