New Theatre Oxford is a stunning, large-scale historic theatre located at the heart of Oxford city centre. We host work from leading UK and international producers enabling the most spectacular West End and Broadway shows alongside drama, classical and contemporary dance, live music, comedy and one-night specials. The theatre hosts hundreds of performances each year, with longer runs of major musicals mixed with week-long tours and one-night shows. We work in partnership with producers to open new shows or launch national tours.

We are recruiting for the position of Marketing Manager on a maternity cover basis. Reporting into, and working very closely with, the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be a part of the Marketing & Communications team liaising with visiting productions, external marketing agencies, other ATG venues, and the central Marketing team to maximise ticket sales, marketing effectiveness and audience development on shows that visit our venues, continually building the reputation of the team. As well as working with the Head of Marketing & Communications in growing the New Theatre Oxford brand within Oxfordshire and beyond, you will also line manage the Marketing and Communications Assistant.

In addition to marketing experience and a positive proactive approach, you will also need great people skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
