Fixed Term position from 2022 to 2024.

The Oxford School of Drama Trust (OSD) is seeking to appoint an Associate Artist to join the School. This role is a new two year fixed term, freelance position for a current practitioner from any discipline in the performing arts and will offer students the experience of working closely with a practitioner as part of their journey to develop their creative voice.

The OSD Associate Artist role will also be a stimulus for continued development at the School by contributing to the shape and content of the curriculum that supports our actors in training to be artists and makers. It is envisaged that the Associate Artist will lead creative projects with actors in training that support them in new ways as emerging artists and makers. The Associate Artist will work as part of the Senior Management Team to contribute to the strategic development and management of the School.

OSD particularly encourages expressions of interest from artists/practitioners from the global majority who are currently under-represented within the management and teaching staff at the School. OSD is an equal opportunity employer. We positively welcome the contributions of people from a wide range of backgrounds, recognising the value that different perspectives bring to the School.

OSD is inviting expressions of interest for the role. They should be in the form of a covering letter outlining your skills, experience and interest in the role and this should be accompanied by a CV.
