The Oxford School of Drama is looking for a creative and motivational individual to lead the Acting Faculty.
This is a hugely exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the School’s artistic vision through an inspiring and creative acting syllabus. The Head of Acting will also be the lead on the One Year Course. In a newly designed role that builds on the School’s solid foundations and refreshed vision, the Head of Acting will be responsible for taking forward an enriched curriculum with clear purpose and direction. They will be an inspiration to the acting faculty and will enhance the skill and ability of the whole faculty, able to offer mentorship and insight to both experienced tutors and teachers who are early on in their career.
As lead on the One Year Course, there is an opportunity to head up a re-design of the course within the refreshed vison for the School.
The Head of Acting will work as part of the Senior Management Team to lead the strategic development and management of the School and they will work closely with the leads on the 3 Year Course and Foundation Course to create an integrated curriculum across the School’s core courses.
This post will be full-time hours during term time (33 weeks per year) and part-time hours during non-term time.
