The Story Museum is seeking a Director of Creative Programme to lead our creative offer to families, children and young people, within and outside our Museum, as well as on-line. This is a new post, bringing together Exhibitions, Events, Learning, Participation and Collections, with a mandate to inspire and influence. The successful candidate will have a breadth of experience at a senior level in the arts and/or heritage sector and well-honed skills as a creative practitioner or producer. They will be knowledgeable about stories and their potential to enrich lives; they will be demonstrably committed to the inclusion and participation of diverse audiences.

The Director of Creative Programme will join the Executive team to lead a talented group of creative, heritage and learning practitioners. We are an ambitious organisation with a committed and enthusiastic team; this role is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to jump on board, move fast and imagine the impossible. They will share our dedication to making high quality, story-based experiences accessible to all and have lots of ideas for how to achieve this.
