The workshop will be running from 16:00-18:00 GMT – Via Zoom
The workshop will give an idea of the drawing process and risograph process and what it has to offer; with a creative approach to drawing.
In this 2.5 hours workshop, people will gain a basic understanding of the technique of drawing and risograph printing. People will have the chance to draw their own simple drawings to turn into a risograph print. People will have the chance to play and develop their own drawings before finally printing.
At the end of the session, people will have their drawings ready for printing.
A printed version of their drawing printed in two inks will be delivered to them after two weeks.
A series of 15 prints for each participant will be posted to their homes.
Materials and equipment people will need at their homes:
A basic charcoal drawing set, rubber, and tissue paper.
Access to the Zoom Program
A sturdy table that has an even surface to draw on.
A camera to send their drawings with 300 dpi resolution.
A window nearby with good daylight.
A4 sheets of paper (15)
Participants will send me their scanned drawings during the following two days.
I will be sent by email a link to a ZOOM meeting a week or so before the workshop along with all information about the day.
This is open to everybody who would like to know basic knowledge about drawing and risograph printing process.
This workshop that I aim to repeat twice in the period of two months, (one per month) will help me to develop a self organise educational model using drawing and risograph printing methods. It will also help me to continue doing my own research on this topic drawing and risograph printing. The second workshop will be on Sunday the 27th of September 2020.
