Modern Art Oxford’s Programme Team works together to develop bold, distinctive and inspiring artistic experiences that encourage engagement, open minds and stimulate creativity. Over the last 50 years we have brought some of the world’s most important artists to the city, and the UK. We have also developed an international reputation for championing emerging and under-represented artists. We aim to build relationships with audiences and participants to be inspired and enjoy, to debate and research, and to produce and reflect upon contemporary visual culture. Modern Art Oxford’s programme seeks to support progressive artistic expression, focusing on three key conditions of our time: community, equality and environmental change. Upcoming exhibitions include Kiki Smith: I am a Wanderer (autumn 2019); Johanna Unzueta: Tools for Life (spring 2020), and Ruth Asawa: Citizen of the Universe (summer 2020).

Modern Art Oxford wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Programme Administrator, who will support the Programme Team to administer, deliver and archive the programme including all exhibitions, creative learning, projects and events. In-house training will be provided for certain aspects of the role.

This will require a highly organised individual with excellent communication and administration skills who can work well in a team, and keep an overview of many different areas of activity. You will have an eye for accuracy, an ability to prioritise effectively and support others with forward planning through reliable and timely administration.
