Job Description:
Raise Your Voice is a new organisation that runs choirs for families. We are looking for a Music and Marketing Assistant to help with the workload of starting a new business.

The position will be varied and is likely to involve the following:
• Sourcing sheet music and backing tracks
• Transposing music
• Creating graphic lyric sheets
• Listing events online
• Responding to queries
• Creating marketing materials including print, video and photo
This list is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may be adapted to suit the strengths of the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be expected to commit 2-3 hours per week where possible. This could be based from home or an Oxford city location. Please note this is a voluntary position and would be ideal for a student or young professional considering a career in music or arts administration.

Person specification:
Essential:
• Organised
• Good time management
• Friendly and personable
• Computer literate
• Excellent use of spoken and written English
Desirable:
• Interest in children and family music
• Experience leading choirs and other musical groups
• Available some Thursday and Saturday mornings
• Experience in creating promotional materials
