Production Assistant for The Story Museum’s 2018 Christmas production Wish
Immediate start – 7 January 2019
£7.50 - £7.83 per hour

We need an enthusiastic production assistant to work alongside our experienced professional team to help deliver our family Christmas show. You’ll be involved throughout the process from general production support such as sourcing props and helping with set design and creation through to front of house stewarding and post event feedback.

Since 2014, The Story Museum’s annual Christmas show has been bringing traditional seasonal tales alive through fabulous storytelling, song, laughter and joining in for families of all ages to enjoy together. For 2018 whilst building work is taking place on site, the show will be taking place in a temporary venue in Oxford’s Castle Quarter. The production is led by the award-winning team of writer/director Renata Allen and producer and Story Museum co-director Tish Francis.

As well as at least 12 months experience in a production or stage management role (student, volunteer or professional), you’ll also need strong planning, organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task and to work well within a wider team.

Visit www.storymuseum.org.uk/vacancies for full details and an application form.

Deadline for completed applications: Wednesday 7 November 10.00
Interviews: Thursday 8 November or Friday 9 November
