Oxfordshire charity Bookfeast is currently looking for a freelance part- time assistant to support the Project Manager for Lunchboox, a scheme of reading clubs in Oxfordshire primary schools.
This is a new role which will involve organising and leading one Lunchboox club (21 thirty minute sessions per year, plus preparation and travel time) and making one initial visit to 6 primary schools at the beginning of each of the three major terms (autumn, spring, summer) for the Lunchboox book choosing session. This will amount to up to 30 hours per term ie 90 hours per year, and there may be scope to extend this role further.
Bookfeast will pay an hourly rate of £10 plus your fuel costs, and provide your initial DBS check, a Club handbook, initial induction (2 hours), regular networking and resource sharing opportunities with other volunteer club leaders and on-going support from the Project Manager.
