Seasonal (June to September), part-time GALLERY INVIGILATOR at Christ Church Picture Gallery, Oxford

Christ Church Picture Gallery houses an important collection of European paintings and drawings. The Gallery is open to the public and the invigilators are responsible for the customer service and the security of the collection; they patrol the galleries, greet visitors, answer queries, take messages and work on the front desk.

We are looking for a smart, reliable and responsible person who is willing to work as part of a small team.

The Gallery’s opening times are Mon - Sat 10.30am – 5.00pm and Sun 2.00 – 5.00 pm; the candidate should be available to work during these times on a varied, part-time rota, at the moment probably every Monday and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday afternoon), as well as Thursday and Friday afternoons.

The basic salary is £8.45 per hour (on Sundays £11.25).
