Artist in Residence
An invitation to artists to have use of a studio at the Old Fire Station for a year in return for inspiring and supporting homeless people to gain new artistic skills.
The two charities, Arts at the Old Fire Station and Crisis, are jointly offering one of its six studios as an award to an artist in return for contracted voluntary work, working alongside Crisis tutors to develop new artistic skills with Crisis members and working with the Visual Arts team to encourage and support Crisis members to engage with the programme. We are particularly interested in an artist who can offer skills that are under-represented in the team, such as photography, animation, filmmaking or small 3 D work.
