Creative Dementia Arts Network seeks a volunteer to work closely with its Chief Executive in developing the charity. We are an Oxford based charity with a national reach that aims to improve the health and well being of people living with dementia. We run a website, training, conduct projects and organise and major annual conferences. Our Chief Executive is leading work on a major fundraising drive to grow and sustain the charity and needs volunteers to help progress projects that are currently underway which will require

1.Experience in events organisation and management

2. Experience in writing fund bids

3. Experience of office administration

4. Experience in research

5. Experience in writing articles and reports

Much of this work can be done flexibly fitting in with your other commitments (if you have them) using your home computer or laptop although regular meetings with the Chief Executive will take place. In return CDAN offers support for personal and professional development including the opportunity to shadow arts and dementia work, to attend its conferences and take part in its projects at Ruskin College, the Wellcome Trust in London and with theatre groups. Any expenses associated with volunteering such as travel or subsistence are paid.

If you have some or all of these skills please apply to join our team. The experience gained is invaluable. Email CDAN's Chief Executive sending your CV and a covering letter or contact her for a further discussion.
