Corn Exchange & New Greenham Arts are two of the South East’s most dynamic arts venues with a busy live performance, outdoor arts and ‘Get Involved’ programme.
We are seeking an Ageing Creatively Coordinator to join our Learning and Participation team.
This role is being created to develop an entirely new strand of work for the Corn Exchange, Newbury, as part of our growing ‘Get Involved’ programme. This work is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund as well as by West Berkshire Council and other trusts and foundations.
It is an opportunity to establish and shape a new programme of arts activities for older people; delivering projects and opportunities that represent the highest standards of social engagement through the arts and arts and well-being practice for older people. This project is ambitious in its scope and can be developed by the right person to respond to the needs of the West Berkshire community and the talents of our local artists.
The post holder will establish this brand new programme across three strands
• Residential Care Settings
• Life Long Learning in the community
• Staff and artist networking and training
Salary : up to £20,000 per annum
This is a full time position (fixed term until July 2019)
