13th Theatre Company Trustee Members Job Description

13th Theatre Company was established in 2008. As a social enterprise we work in/and with the community and donate a percentage of our profits to charity.

The Board of Trustees of 13th Theatre Company are valued partners in our non-profit efforts to build a high quality, professional company that involves and contributes to the community through productions, education and reach out projects.

Members of the Board of Trustees are expected to understand and contribute to the strategic planning process, financial oversight, financial well-being and the accomplishment of 13th Theatre Company’s Mission, Goals and Objectives. Specifically, members of the Board of Trustees should be willing to contribute their time and expertise as follows:-

• Attend at least three of the four quarterly meetings each year and offer guidance and expertise in regard to the issues under consideration.
• With the aid of the Executive Staff (Founder/Artistic Director) determine the objectives and policies that will guide 13th Theatre Company towards the accomplishments of its mission.
• Act as advocates in communicating the mission, goals and programme of 13th Theatre Company in the local and regional community and in turn bring the community’s concerns and interests to 13th Theatre Company.
• Be able to involve others to expand 13th Theatre Company’s market attracting new subscribers, volunteers and donors.
