The Sarah Morgan Foundation (www.sarahmorganfoundation.org) awards grants of up to £500 to projects promoting English traditional/folk music to a wider audience. Our focus starts with the open access, inclusive community choir model, but extends beyond into any eligible project which educates the wider public about the rich English folk music tradition.

Applications are accepted throughout the year, with no award rounds or closing dates. Past funded projects have included publication of songbooks; subsidising transport to and running costs of community choir workshops; subsidising individual participation in community choir leadership courses; supporting community choir filmmaking. We will consider applications from theatre makers, musicians, educators and beyond. Any UK-based project meeting our Award Criteria will be considered.
