A semi-retired teacher/lecturer/researcher with strong interests in visual and outdoor arts, the written word, music and theatre.

As a primary teacher, focussed on creating a classroom culture where learning was a side-effect of children having fun through engaging together in personally relevant and authentic activities.

As an educational researcher, focussed on teaching and learning in science and D&T, and on creative collaboration in classroom contexts.

In the visual arts, exhibited in England and Scotland, usually part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, associate member of OVADA. Most work created using found wood from waste skips or watersides, sometimes installed outdoors.
