Oxford and Padova have been twinned since 2019. The twinning association Oxford Padova Link promotes cultural exchanges and friendship between the two cities. OPL events have brought performers, musicians, family and friends from Oxford to Padua and vice versa. These include DIY Theatre’s production of West Side Story in Padova (2019), early music concerts in Oxford and Padova, and Oxford International Links’ twinning festival in the Sheldonian Theatre.
