Mirren Kessling 16, from the Downs School in Berkshire, began exhibiting her artwork last year after running up a huge mobile phone bill. Initially she sold pages from her GCSE sketchbook but since then has exhibited with Jelly at Reading Contemporary Art Fair, Modern Artists Gallery, Jam Factory Oxford and the Cornerstone Art Centre, the Windsor contemporary Art Fair and Amnesty Art Auction for Art Jericho, Oxford. Mirren is working towards her first solo show at the Jam Factory in February 2011, she won the Ginny Gray Art Idol Competition in September 2010. Mirren made props and styled an Ok magazine 'Alice in Wonderland' themed shoot in August 2010.Mirren was on the design team for Laurence Llewelyn Bowen’s “Glampire” inspired lights for the Blackpool Illuminations unveiled in September 2010 and did live drawings for the Nuit Blanche Festival and Inside/Outside Festivals in October 2010.
