Janella took to painting as her occupation in 2010 helping to act as a therapeutic diversion, aiding recovery from illness. She feels blessed to be able to do something she loves everyday.

Drawing inspiration from 'stepping outside her own back door' Janella lives in a rural location where the world around her changes ever day. Special moments can be preserved on paper for posterity. Using watercolours to create bold images goes against the grain but works well for Janella. Her paintings of classic cars & gypsy wagons are like looking through a nostalgic window of a peaceful world, which hints at the tranquillity of times gone by.
