The Eglesfield Musical Society is Oxford University's oldest music society, founded in 1842, and is open to all students of the university. Based at The Queen's College, we host two recital each week throughout the academic year: on Wednesdays at 1.10pm (for organ) and on Saturdays at 1.30pm (for a variety of musical soloists and small ensembles). All recitals are free to attend and it is customary to arrive 5-10 minutes early at the Queen's Porter's Lodge so that a member of the EMS committee can direct you to either the Chapel or Shulman Auditorium.
