I studied Public art and design at Chelsea school of art and chose to specialise in the art of mosaic making. Since gaining my degree I have taught at the London institute and held my own weekly class in mosaic for over 12 years. As well as undertaking various private commissions I have led several community and public art projects, ranging from the mosaic nameplate of the V&A museum of childhood in London to working in various local schools and community groups. I have taught all ages from 4 to 94 which highlights the versitility and accessability of the art of mosaic making.
My book, 'Garden mosaics, 25 projects for your outdoor room' was published by CICO press in 2004.
