"Breaking the Rules" explores the life and music of composer and murderer Carlo Gesualdo. Performed by the Marian Consort with actor Finbar Lynch, Rory McCleery directs them in extracts from Gesualdo's Tenebrae Responsories and a selection of his madrigals. Due to mild references to sex and murder, the suggested age recommendation for this event is 12+.

The National Youth Folk Ensemble will bring together talented young folk musicians from across England to participate in intensive residential courses, create new arrangements of folk music and give public performances, guided by Artistic Director Sam Sweeney and a team of leading folk artists.

NYFE are looking for instrumentalists aged 14-18 who are dedicated to developing as folk artists and excited about collaborating with others who share their passion.

This Sampler Day is the first stage of the audition process and will include creative workshops, individual auditions and an information session.

Celebrate Father's Day at Cogges with a whole host of motors and machines to interest enthusiasts of all ages!

We'll have the farmyard packed full of wonderful vintage and classic motorbikes, cars, working steam engines, and traditional farm machinery and tractors. From 10-2 we will also be running our popular junkyard farmyard sessions to make your own model tractors to take home.

If it's adventure you're looking for, why not build a den! There are plenty of logs and branches in the woodland by the moat, or borrow one of our Cogges den kits from the welcome desk.

Live music, brought to you by What the Fox Music, will also entertain visitors, who can expect beautiful tunes and craft ales to finish a great day out in style!

Looking for a drummer/street drummer for an interdisciplinary performance project based in Oxford. This creative role is exploratory and to be developed in relation to experience, chemistry and personality, through devising.

Interested in those open to experimenting with cross-over arts, and being a part of the live performance space.

Direct from sell-out performances in Shanghai, New York and at the Edinburgh Fringe, Apphia Campbell embarks on her debut UK tour. Inspired by the life of Nina Simone, Black Is the Color of My Voice follows a successful jazz singer and civil rights activist seeking redemption after the untimely death of her father. She reflects on the journey that took her from a young piano prodigy destined for a life in the service of the church, to a renowned jazz vocalist at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movement.
