In the face of the climate and biodiversity challenges, never has that generational promise ‘to pass on a better world to our children’ seemed more unlikely. Young people all over the world are rightly demanding more. Despite the challenges, how do we stay optimistic, and active, in securing a better future?

With Professor Nick Eyre from the Environmental Change Institute, internationally recognised environmental lawyer, climate change and development policy expert Farhana Yamin, poet Selina Nwulu, Josh Ettinger from the School of Geography and the Environment and co-founder of Talk Climate Change, Bill Finnegan from the School of Geography and the Environment, and Professor of Biodiversity and Founding Director of the Nature-based Solutions Initiative Professor Nathalie Seddon.
