About
The OxOnArts.info website has been developed by the Arts Development Officers of the county, comprising Cherwell District Council, Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council, South Oxfordshire District Council, Vale of the White Horse District Council and West Oxfordshire District Council.
The site is designed to be an online directory of artists and arts organisations as well as an online resource of information.
It was commissioned by the Oxfordshire Arts Partnership (arts representatives from each of the Oxfordshire local authorities) with the three aims of
- promoting artists and organisations to a wider community
- sign posting opportunities, resources and knowledge
- encouraging the sharing of current issues and thoughts through the online forum
Artists, musicians and makers of all kinds can choose to receive email updates about the areas that interest them, as well as promoting themselves online. Best of all, it's all free.
The website was built and is maintained by Eye Division Ltd in collaboration with Neil C Smith.
