No Place Like Home - the changing face of Thame through time

An exciting exhibition focusing on how and why Thame grew from 156 dwellings in 1662, to over 5000 homes in 2021. Victorian improvements in sanitation, the coming of the railway bringing new employment, these are just some of the drivers. Two World Wars, an increasing population and a move away from multi-generational living have also played a major role. Discover how our homes, both inside and out, have continued to change over time.
