Venue, Timing and Cost

Following on from last year’s What’s Wrong With Us? this year’s exhibition will take place over Oxford’s Windrush Weekend to bring together artworks from a range of Oxfordshire artists exploring notions of home, identity and the fraught politics of belonging.
At a time of growing division between individuals and communities, this exhibition asks urgent questions: Who belongs? Who is welcomed? Where does home reside? How do histories of migration, diaspora, and nationalism continue to shape contemporary experiences of identity and exclusion?
The exhibition brings together a diverse range of practices, including painting, sculpture, installation, textiles, photography, text, performance, and film - offering multiple perspectives on the social and political realities of belonging today.
There is also a programme of free community events taking place throughout the exhibition week.
*** UPDATE: opening is now on 18th June, not 17th as advertised.
