Join emerging Oxfordshire-based artist Anita Joice for a fun and lively tour of her new exhibition Portals of Gnosis. The exhibition features large-scale colourful paintings inspired by well-known locations across Oxfordshire. During the guided viewing, Anita will reveal more about the mythic or extinct ancient creatures hidden in the landscapes, accompanied by a gentle background of nature-based sound recordings that evoke the atmosphere of place, water and a nymphaeum.

The title Portals of Gnosis refers to places and conditions that open doorways to extraordinary moments of perception or inner knowing.

In this tour, Anita will share insights into her creative process and how history, personal visions, and myth inform her work. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the stories and symbolism woven into the landscapes - and may leave inspired to notice the traces of the past still alive around us today.

The tour is free. Original paintings, as well as postcards, cards and prints, will be available for sale.
