Explore the extraordinary Gothic Library designed by Sir John Soane, experience the elegance of the Japan Room, and glimpse the eighteenth-century wall paintings our conservators have carefully revealed on the East Grand Staircase Landing – along with the latest discovery, which now awaits further funding for conservation.

Join us to uncover more of Stowe’s fascinating history and see the house from a whole new perspective.

Stowe House is an architectural masterpiece. Once home to a wealthy and politically influential family, it was designed to reflect their social and political ideals – ideals still expressed today through its architecture and beautifully restored interiors. The Stowe House Preservation Trust continues to protect and preserve this iconic site, ensuring it remains a source of inspiration for generations to come.
