On our exclusive backstage tours you’ll get a sense of what it’s like to tread the boards of our Playhouse stage. Joined by a member of our technical team, take a walk through areas of the theatre that are usually out of access to all but cast and crew.

Learn about the history of the building, and find out everything you’ve ever wanted to know about working in one of Oxford’s most iconic venues.

Booking Information:

Tour guests should arrive 5 minutes before the advertised start time. The tour will last approximately 1 hour.

The tour will typically involve stairs and uneven flooring - please wear sensible footwear. We regretfully do not have a lift in the building.
