When we heard that Sobell House were planning an Oxtrail round Oxfordshire this summer we couldn’t resist the idea of an ‘Oxhibition’. One of their painted oxen will be outside Summertown Library but come into the garden and see what fabulous varieties our talented sculptors have created in stone, ceramic, metal and glass. All commission on sales wil go to Sobell House Hospice. Participating sculptors are : Cathy Binnie, Cathy Ferreira, Wren Hughes, Cherry Jacquet, Liz Judge, Isabel Knowland, Briony Lawson, Anthony Lloyd, Kate Smith, Rachel Woods with a special tribute to the late Vital Peeters who loved creating bulls and oxen.
