Venue, Timing and Cost

When? Saturday 27 July, 10-4pm, with a coffee and lunch break
What? Led by classically trained artist Tim Steward, this workshop will teach you fundamental drawing techniques including proportions and light and shadow in the creation of form, as well as the practicalities of working outside.
Starting at OVADA, you will learn and practice how to capture the beauty of the architecture in Oxford. Then you will head outside to draw in the streets of Oxford, giving you the opportunity to truly connect with the subject you are drawing, and practice techniques developed in the morning’s session.
Whether you’re regularly drawing in the street and looking to develop your skills or you’ve never set foot outside with drawing materials, this workshop is the perfect way to challenge yourself in a safe space with expert guidance.
Who? All welcome; no experience necessary; age 16+ (under 18s should attend with an adult). Max group size: 12.
How? Purchase below or contact engagement@ovada.org.uk for more info. Standard Cost: £75 / Pay Less: £60 / Pay more: £90
