an etching of plants for Deepwell Arts

Explore the wonderfully evocative method of drypoint etching with experienced tutor Helen Edwards. Helen will start you with some sketching exercises before introducing an approach to drawing flowers. You will then explore the beautiful garden and create more sketches ready for etching and printing in the afternoon. You will produce your own drypoint etching and be shown how to ink up to develop tones and colour before printing onto quality paper.

All materials and tools are provided to enable you to develop your own prints along with some inspiring resources, just bring your own lunch. Whatever your prior experience, you will be well supported in the friendly small group setting.
