Venue, Timing and Cost
Linocutting is the most accessible type of block-printing, because lino (aka linoleum) is soft and easy to cut. The principle is to cut out an image, so that when the lino block is inked and pressed onto paper it leaves a mirror-image behind. Once you have carved your block you can re-use it as many times as you want!
During this workshop you will learn the essentials of Linocut, and make your own block and print to take home (where you can make even more prints)! Fun, informative and practical, explore the simplicity and charm of print-making with your own hands, plus pick up my easy home printing ‘hacks’.
