Come and mark the week of International Women’s Day with us, be inspired by women in print and create with artist Biddy Hudson. Experiment with using everyday materials and images from your life, to create collographs around this year’s IWD.

We’ll start by looking at the traditional position of women in printing, as well as current printmakers, through resources such as Printing Matters magazine. Biddy will share expertise about various methods of printing and demonstrate the collograph process, using found materials, pattern, etching ink and a mini printing press. We’ll then develop our individual collograph prints using or taking inspiration from your own imagery and experiences.

All are warmly welcomed; no experience necessary; aged 16+ (under 18s should attend with an adult)
