New work 23: An Exhibition showcasing exciting New Work from West Ox Arts Members 2023 and presenting the  ‘A New Epoch”  Exhibition -  a body of work created for WOA’s  Community Partnership with Kelmscott Manor and exhibited at the Manor last Autumn.

At West Ox Arts, we are delighted to announce our forthcoming exhibition which presents the talents of our members, who will be exhibiting from 11 Feb through to 11 March at The WOA Gallery located in the heart of Bampton, Oxfordshire.

We look forward to welcoming all into our magnificent gem of an art space to see this wonderful mix of local creative talents. From paintings, sculptures and glass to jewellery, textiles, wood and wirework, there is so much to see across this wide array of fascinating techniques.

Alongside the Members Exhibition we will be exhibiting the collection of work created in partnership with Kelmscott Manor last year. Members of West Ox Arts Gallery were invited to produce art in their chosen medium inspired by the re-opening of Kelmscott Manor.

Following a visit to Kelmscott to explore the Manor, grounds and museum collection; the artists returned to spend an inspiring day with established printmaker Susie Hetherington. Susie demonstrated the art of linocut printing, which the artists and makers then went on to explore and develop in their own style, resulting in a wide range of imaginative responses. In addition to this, the artists also each created an individual piece of work in their own preferred medium.

Come along and support our local, talented artists and take the opportunity to enjoy the imaginative and inspiring work created for Kelmscott Manor.

You will not be disappointed !
