The City of Oxford Choir invites you to a grand celebration of the Christmas carol, the musical evocation of the magic of Christmas. This year the University Church will ring to the sound of carols old and new, triumphant and thoughtful, as we explore a glorious range of traditional delights and contemporary twists. Let us share with you music of joy and wonder from contemporary talents Kerensa Briggs, Gabriel Jackson and Matthew Martin, from classic composers Victoria, Praetorius and Scheidt, and, of course, from the masters of Christmas, John Rutter and Bob Chilcott. Join us as we share the warmth of Christmas cheer, and leave with a song in your heart...
