Meet at the Museum: Stars, Sparkles and Stories

Join us we explore and create Christmas Decorations. In this session the Collections Manager will bring and interpret a selection of historic decorations from the collections. After exploring these artefacts, we hope you feel inspired to create your own in a craft activities led by the Learning and Activities team.

We invite you to meet us at the museum on the 3rd Friday morning of each month to discover more about the collections on display or develop your creative side. You don’t have to come to every session, just choose what interests you.

This new programme is a mix of art and craft, archaeology and history. Everyone is invited to join us, no need to book, just turn up. The approach will be very informal and will give everyone a chance to chat and learn from each other as well as from our staff and volunteers. Sessions are free of charge, but we welcome donations.
